    Entry at a higher level as the net.


    FENÊTRE:  Ouverture plein sud, définie par rapport à la hauteur du soleil à midi entre le 21 mai et 21 août

                    Diamètre : 1m50


    ACCÈS:     Porte faite d’une marche de manière à ce que l’on découvre l’espace intérieur. L’entrée est semi cachée                 de sorte que nous ne puissions pas voir depuis l’extérieur le ressenti de la sphère.

    Densification 

    Creating a central space with a sphere pushing the mass outside the cubic frame.


    L'idée de départ était de travailler une structure unique sur plusieurs résolutions. La première résolution donne la volumétrie générale en reprenant la trame de 60 cm de la protostructure.

    Une seconde résolution avec une trame plus petite nous laisse densifier certains endroits pour permettre de s’asseoir/marcher dessus.

    Le temps de montage, la quantité et le poids du bois devenus trop importants avec ce système de densification, nous ont amené à repenser l’utilisation d’un deuxième matériau, tant qu’il nous permette de maintenir à la fois le jeu entre luminosité et densité, et un rapport avec la structure primaire écartée.

    Security

    Nous accrocherons un câble métallique d'un côté de la protostructure à l'autre, sur lequel nous nous assurerons. Il permettra un déplacement sans encombre sur l'axe Y. Pour cela, nous avons besoin d'un câble, d'un baudrier, d'une corde et deux mousquetons par personne.

    We developped an orthogonal densification system based on the existing 60x60 framework of the protostructure, in which we inserted a sphere, a pure volume.

    The general volumetry is given by a 60x60-resolution pixelation.

    Openings

    To emphasize the constrast between the full and the empty spaces, we defined an opening to let a max of sunlight penetrate the sphere. The opening looks up to sky, depriving anyone from any outer landmarks.

  • HOUSE I (FINAL) - ANARCHIC PLANE

    FOURTH WEEK


    Inspired by our two project of Planes, we choosed to put a wall/roof/(floor) that cross most of the different spaces generated by the protostructure. The wall connect those spaces but it separate them too because he has a tilt and a direction completely opposed to the linearity of the Protostructure and his directions (x,y,z). So when the wall cross the protostructure it generates "lines" that aren't according to the orthogonality of the structure. 

    When the wall goes through the structure it gave us the idea that it pass through all the different spaces and especially since it has a specific tilt we understand that from a space and another it is always the same wall. So it links all the spaces and generate new interesting moments at the same time.
