For the final project, I decided to do the arch in two different materials. I wanted to show the coldness of the plaster in contrast to the warmness of the wood. So when you sit on the floor you look in something welcoming, in another space.

The walls around are as high as the eyes of a person so I lead him to only look horizontally, and it's only when you sit down in front of the arch that he is capable to look down.

So I created a space where the walls are as high as the eyes so you can't see under you.

It's only when you come to the arch and sit down, that you can see what is under you.

I was really interested in recreating this sort of private space and see everything around.

We based our element on measures we took from the tallest person of the group.

The screen gives the people an intimate space in this big city. They are in sort of protected from

the outside and can have some privacy.

The user can also sit on the chairs and admire details of the Bel-Air tower.

We choose little details of the tower that we don't necessarily notice at the first look.
