Infinity of water suggested by a multitude of plaster layers going all over the surface of the protostructure and creating vertical planes. Metaphor of water integrated in the soil itself.

These vertical planes, formed by a single formwork, offer different perceptions of a space inside the protostructure, yet all formed of similar planes. The perception changes.

Around these planes, a human being feel oppressed. Over time, these planes grow and dominate him.

Changing and dominant spaces. Superiority. Each path brings to a new space.

Yet, these planes are not essential. What is primordial, is the spatial potential brought by the formwork. This possibility is offered to anyone who wants to create its own space, however he wants to do it.

  • WEEK 12 | SEVERAL ATTEMPTS

    Par Mehmeti Albin, 18/12/17

Different types of formwork have been tested in order to find a way to create vertical planes. These reusable formworks allow us to build the walls layer by layer by fixing them on the next floor.

  • WEEK 11 | THE PROTOSTRUCTURE

    Par Mehmeti Albin, 04/12/17

Water flows between spaces. What if this flow became a plane?

Inside the protostructure, plaster will flow and walls will be build. Little by little, they will grow until they reach the top of it. These planes will be created directly inside the protostructure, so they are linked to it.

  • WEEK 10 | INFINITE & SACRED WATER

    Par Mehmeti Albin, 27/11/17

Now, water is taking place inside our situation model. There, beneath everything, deep through the underground, it extends infinitely. Until it can't...

Plasterboard became the first layer of the situation model. Like water, it takes its space.

  • WEEK 9 | PLANES INTRODUCTION | INSPIRATIONAL THOUGHTS | WATER

    Par Mehmeti Albin, 27/11/17

Water is the softest thing, yet it can penetrate mountains and earth. This shows clearly the principle of softness overcoming hardness.

    Lao Tzu

What do you think when you're around water? Inside water? In front of water? What can you feel? How do you feel? Anyway, isn't it the only thing that can make you think and feel at all?

Water can make you travel to an infinite place, or in a small, deep room.
